Introducing Mike Wilson Owner - Operator

Hi, I'm Mike, the owner of Lake Tyres - Mobile Tyre Service. I've been in the tyre industry for almost 20 years with 5 of these years owning half shares in a local reputable tyre business. Following this I decided to establish Lake Tyres as I saw a niche in the market to accommodate busy working people, those who may be stuck on the side of the road or those who may not have the tools or capability to change a tyre for example.

This business has given me the flexibility to spend more time with my family, attend school activities and take time off when I need to. The highlight for me so far has been getting out and about to different locations and meeting new and familiar faces in their everyday environments whether that be at home work or elsewhere.

When I'm not working you can find me racing at the Taupo International Motorsport Park with the Taupo Car Club in the winter race series, mountain biking, fishing or spending time with my family.
